Combining two fields of nursing to care for older people



We are looking for nurses who are prepared to develop their physical and mental health skills at the same time for our Mental Health Service for Older People. We have four wards caring for people from across Leicester, leicestershire and Rutland.


Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Annual General Meeting 2016



Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust invites the public to its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 08 September at The Kube, Leicester Race Course, Leicester Road, Oadby, Leicester LE2 4AL. Alongside the main meeting, from 11am to 12.30pm, there will be an interactive health fair with stands highlighting the diverse range of services provided by the Trust and some of its partners.


Trust wins Quality Mark for healthcare training



Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has been awarded a nationally-recognised Quality Mark for its provision of healthcare training and education.


Back of the net! £2,200 sports boost for Bradgate



Leicestershire FA has helped kick-start a programme of football activities for patients at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust’s Bradgate Mental Health Unit with a generous donation of equipment. The kit – a horde of balls, cones, T-shirts and jackets – will enable occupational therapy staff on the wards to get more patients involved in therapeutic sports and social activities.

£75,000 for new approach to cutting falls and aggression among dementia patients



The independent charity The Health Foundation is giving LPT £75,000 to use the Enriched Model of Dementia to reduce falls and aggresssion among patients with dementia.


Young volunteers help to raise the profile of mental health



Volunteers from the Naitonal Citizen Service have been working with CAMHS on a social action project to promote positive mental health. Join them for a 'flashmob' at 10am on Thursday 21 July at Leicester Clock Tower.
