New LPT 'app' takes mystery out of ECT treatment

A team from Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has developed an innovative phone ‘app’ to take the mystery and fear out of electro-convulsive therapy (ECT). elieved to be the first of its kind, the app is being launched at a national Royal College of Psychiatrists’ ECT Accreditation Service event in London today (Thursday12 November).
