Turning Point has opened the doors of a new adult mental health crisis house following a move to new premises close to the centre of Leicester.

Battling through 969 miles to raise funds for life-saving children’s respiratory vest


Two intrepid cyclists from local company Giant Crushing Ltd, took on a gruelling nine-day challenge in September, riding 969 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats, to raise £6000 for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT)’s ‘Vest Appeal’ to support children with life-limiting respiratory conditions.

From Finance Director to successful Children's book author


When Dr Pete Cross, Director of Finance at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) started writing a book for his two sons as a Christmas present, little did he know that it would be snapped up by a publishing company. His book, ‘The Rockwall Brothers’ has already sold out on Amazon twice, and he’s donating December’s royalties to LPT’s charity Raising Health.
