Diana Community Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapists

What Does Our Service Do?

We are a service that assesses and treats children with complex disabilities with additional respiratory issues in the community. We train families, carers and schools in chest physiotherapy to try and reduce hospital admissions caused by chest infections. We complete rapid response visits to children when they are acutely unwell. Additionally, we provide an in-reach service onto the Childrens wards of UHL, so that we can closely monitor if any children known to us have been admitted, and aim to assist in a more rapid discharge from hospital where appropriate.
