Liaison Psychiatry Service
The liaison service provides assessment and treatment for people who experience mental health problems in the context of physical illness. We provide a service for the adult population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who arge aged 16 to 65 years.
We see people on inpatient wards at UHL hospitals. These are the three main hospital sites which are Leicester General Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital. We also provide outpatient clinics and a specialist chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) service. Services are currently in the process of review.
Care is provided by an experienced multi-disciplinary team of liaison professionals.
How to Access our Service
